Programs and Events

Selling apparel and donating funds to worthy charities, to us is fantastic, but what really inspires us here at The Adventure Therapy Project, is action! So we have made it our goal to not only create awareness, but to create opportunity for people, young and old, to engage in activity outdoors!

Kids Programs and Events

Over the course of the year we have tried to create unique, fun and easily accessible ways to get kids out side. We have run several day camps for young people, that are Adventure Based. Kids love any opportunity to learn new skills and get out side!!

Our Youth Guided Hikes were extremely popular and had youth from the ages of 4-14. Hikers learned safe hiking practices and "Leave No Trace" practices. Hikers enjoyed being in nature and experience the benefits of being outside.

In November we ran a Survival Skills Camp for youth which was a ton of fun. Our participants learned skills around shelter building, fire building and water purification. All the kids had a blast and left with a ATP Survival Kit.

In December we were lucky enough to have a special visitor to one of our programs!! Reindeer Games, was one our favourite events that provided a fun way to get our younger kids outside and moving! The kiddos were more than happy when Santa himself stopped by!

In May, The Adventure Therapy Project sponsored a school's run club and had 17 students participate in the inaugural Berry Bolt Race.

In October we held our First Annual A Night of Adventure, which featured a showing of the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. All funds raised we donated in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Our Family Hikes/Snow Shoes

We offer guided hikes and snowshoes across various trails and skill levels. It is fantastic to show people many of our favourite trails!

Let's Go Airsoft

If you are looking for a fun and exciting way to get outside, we have partnered with a local company Lets Go Airsoft to provide a fun new way to be active. It is designed for ages 13+. At our first event we had nearly 50 people out, youth and adults for a fun time!
